WACOM DIGITAL INK FOR ANY OS

Wacom has an 'open' digital ink for any OS

This ink, which may take the appearance of a pen, pencil or brush may be used on different operating systems and allow us to draw or take notes from to modify and share documents online.


The Mobile World Congress in Barcelona continues to talk about. Now is the turn of Wacom Company, which has submitted WILL (Wacom Ink Layer Language), a digital ink 'open', ie allowing use on different operating systems and applications and store data. 

Among its options, WILL have interchangeable colors and can be extended with different screen 'tips': pencil, pen, brush ... Users will be networked and work on documents at the same time, much like Google Drive. 


The company has also advanced that she may sign official documents or certificates, integrate images or displays the status of someone or something on a map. The intention is that the user feels as if using a conventional pen.


As it is open, Wacom puts his ink available to all interested companies. The director of the company, Masahiko Yamada, explained that being able to use touch or technological lead pencils form an identification number.
